If you support allowing openly gay men to serve in the Boy Scouts of America, it’s a list of five reasons why that’s a sensible position.

But you can also turn it around and make it a list of five reasons why the Religious Right sees this as such a big deal. Why is it so important to keep the Boy Scouts gay-free . . . or at least firmly ensconced in the closet?
